Photo Story: Exploring Keyhaven Marshes


Today, as part of this New Forest photo series, we have a new photo story for you: impressions from Keyhaven Marshes. Keyhaven is one of those areas where the New Forest borders the channel and where really it isn't all that forest-y. We went to explore this area on a particularly gloomy day but had a fantastic time testing out our wind- and waterproofs and getting to know our area a bit better. As always with our photo stories I will let the pictures do most of the talking. Let's hop right in:

This is from around Keyhaven Yacht Club above. It's hard to identify the colours but I loved the cute yellow, red and white boats. 

Pay close attention to the background in the photo above - you can just about glimpse the Isle of Wight.

Another important factor: good gear. We both wore thin down layered over merino wool base layers. Then, when it got windier and wetter we pulled on our waterproofs. The guys from GORE-Tex particularly loved the photo below:
